Umrah Day 7

It was 12:00 AM as we decided to embark on a rocky journey to Cave Hira. The brightness of the moon served as a guiding torch for us, simply beautiful SubhaanAllah. With each step we became breathless and began to reflect upon the hardship our beloved Prophet ï·º endured as he would climb this mountain without the assistance of any stairs. Our eyes began to well up with tears as we remembered that this was where the first revelation came down, where our beloved Prophet ï·º began to shiver in shock as he was frightened by the scene. The emotions running through our veins at this time was merely too much to put into words. We were left awestruck and deeply felt the connection to the habib of Allah.

It was late at night, sometime after midnight as we decided to embark on a rocky journey to Cave Hira. The brightness of the moon served as a guiding torch for us, simply beautiful SubhaanAllah. With each step we became breathless and began to reflect upon the hardship our beloved Prophet ﷺ endured as he would climb this mountain without the assistance of any stairs. Our eyes began to well up with tears as we remembered that this was where the first revelation came down, where our beloved Prophet ﷺ began to shiver in shock as he was frightened by the scene. The emotions running through our veins  at this time are merely too much to put in words. We were left awestruck and deeply felt the connection to the habib of Allah.

The following day we proceeded to the busy markets of Makkah which were packed with people and I even got to taste camel meat which was delicious. SubhaanAllah.

To top off the day I managed to go to the Masjid al haram and witness the beautiful site of the Ka’bah for the second time as well as perform Tawaf between the time of Maghrib to Esha where I was also able to engage in salah that was instructed by Sheikh Maher, this was Truly breathtaking. Everyone coming together to worship Allah, an experience that I will remember for a lifetime.
